The standard 2.0-liter Turbo engine comes with the 430i and 430i xDrive trim levels, while the 3.0-liter Turbo engine is found on the M440i xDrive trim.
An 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission—with Sport and Manual shift modes, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, and Launch Control—is paired with both engine options.

The Live Cockpit Plus includes an 8.8-inch central information display with touch functionality, and an 8.8-inch analog instrument cluster with a horizontal 5.1-inch display. The multi-input iDrive 7.0 system is operated by voice, touchscreen, and iDrive touchpad Controller. Bluetooth®, two USB ports, and eight freely programmable bookmarks also come standard.
